Finding prospects for your business is a fundamental skill and many people have difficulty with it.
As a part of my SBB video series (fundamental Skills to Build a Business), I address this issue specifically. I highly recommend that you go over the entire series, here in my blog, as they videos come out.

The home based business industry traditionally recommends you make a list of people you know, family, friends and acquaintances. The reason is simple, you already know them so it's easier to talk to them about your business. But many of us don't feel comfortable talking to friends and family about it because there is some negative reputation about network marketing and because we have some fears.
Nonetheless, there are many ways you can find people to join your business if you are willing to make the effort and if you want to be a professional.
Smart Ways to Finding Prospects
Finding prospects is not hard, we just need to be willing to be creative and to remember that we want to build a business and that any business requires prospects. Small business owners and entrepreneurs are usually good targets but it depends on what you have to offer.
My video describes 8 ways you can find prospects, some are traditional, others creative and others use social media.
I hope this video as added value to you and you feel a renewed confidence that you can find people to your business.
In the video I spoke about social media as a great way to meet people but you need to be aware of which platform you use and how people are using it in order to get the best results.
Another more traditional approach I mention is the looking for cards and numbers on your local posting boards because people are looking for business there and so they want to make more money… perfect prospect.
