Congratulations! You got someone to come in to your business and work with you. Now what? At this stage the worst you can do is to let this person alone. The skill necessary here is getting the new person started. Why?
Because only 20% of new recruits will stay in business after a 6 month period from sign-up if there are no sales. The good news is that this number increases to 70% if the new person makes a dollar.
Now it becomes clear why you need to help getting the new person started. Their success is your success!
Getting the New Person Started
To help getting the new person started you need to have a SIMPLE implementation plan. A roadmap that the new person can start working immediately and easily. From there, new steps are added to make sure the person knows what to do and starts getting leads, conversations and eventually sales.
Basically, what you want is to create duplication because the new person will do what you do. Make it simple so they don't feel it's impossible to do and make sure they know the plan because they will have to help the people they get it. The plan should be the same for the entire team.
What should the plan be? That depends on you because there are many strategies that work and you should focus on one at the beginning (remember simple) that gets results and can be build upon.
